Based in Sawston, near Cambridge, England, Magna Frequency Components was established in 1988 to provide a high quality, reliable source of crystals and oscillators to the professional communications industry. We now supply to over 30 countries worldwide with products from the highest specification avionics oscillator to low cost high volume products such as chip inductors, crystals, etc.

With our own manufacturing facility in the UK, accredited to ISO9000:2000, we design and develop a wide range of VCXO, VCO, TCXO, RF modules and LC filters to suit every application including military, telecommunications, professional radio communications test and instrumentation, etc. With a combined experience of well over 100 years in the crystal and RF industry, our technical staff can offer advice to ensure that you use the best device for your application. We have available full test facilities including phase noise testing, crystal parameter testing, filter parameter testing and temperature testing over a range of –65°C to over +150ºC.

Magna Frequency Components also works in close partnership with other manufacturers from around the world to make available a wide range of RF components such as low-g sensitivity OCXO for avionics applications, VCO, TCXO for high volume applications such as DAB radio and mobile phones.

The MFC branded range of components include crystals, oscillators inductors, etc. sourced from quality manufacturers. All suppliers are qualified by us which means that we can offer low cost, high volume products at very competitive prices.

To better serve our Asian customers, we have established a regional headquarters in Hong Kong with a satellite sales and support office in North Eastern China. From here we can deliver products, often from stock, within a few hours.

Our staff are highly experienced in high volume manufacturing processes and are on hand to help with any process or logistics problems.
