Magna Frequency Components prides itself on the excellence of it’s manufacturing capability. With over 100 years of combined experience in the frequency control industry we offer full technical support and custom designs for specific applications.

Our main R&D centre is based in Sawston, near Cambridge, in the UK. Here we have specialist manufacturing for high specification oscillators and RF modules. Our product range includes VCXO, TCXO, VCO and LC filters covering the frequency range from a few kHz to around 1GHz. Full test facilities are available including phase noise measurement, crystal parameters, filter parameters and temperature testing from –65 to 180°C. Custom designs are also available .

For even more demanding environments including reference oscillators for avionic equipment we are partnered with A R Electronique of France who have many years experience of building high stability, low g-sensitivity OCXO and filters for military and civil aircraft communication systems.

For commercial and high volume consumer products Magna have manufacturing plants available in Asia offering high quality product at competitive pricing. All manufacturing sites are ISO9000:2000 accredited and are audited annually by Magna staff.
